Hej Jonas, jag har följt dina videos en lång tid och njuter av alla fina saab videos ❤ jag har en liten fråga, om du vet nån bra länk, för jag hittar knappt nåt på google. Det gäller dom där ledögonbrynen på 9-3 (09). Dom lyser helt enkelt inte. (Dottern köpte just sin första saab). Jag vet att detta inte är ett problem forum att skriva på men jag gör en chansning innan verkstan får gräva i det 😂

Tja du jag fattar inte hur man ska göra med topplåten där fram, knakar en massa när jag vrider på ratten...

Hello, I will be a bit long,but first of all I want to thank you for the video,I made it. This is based on the video. What was different was,that for me the update did not start automatically,but I chose on the loading screen to update from usb. Then the logo came up,I went for a coffee. Afterwards it said successful update,but also on the loading screen( where you go to service mode) then the two scroll buttons did not work,and flashed white. I was scared. I pressed the screen,and it went black. I said this is the end. Then I pressed the reset button with a pin. It started up and worked. Finally I could start the wazet,without instant eject after more than a year. These are the experiences of the first 15 minutes, if I have more to write :) Thanks again.

I have always been under the impression that tempered glass can not be cut. It will just pulverize. But Im no glass expert, and might be wrong. Anyway, I hope you find a solution 😊

Hi Jonas, I bought a Witson PX5 unit for a Suzuki ASX. Natively android 9, upgraded to 10 via OTA 2 or 3 years ago) and with MCU MCTE_HA_V3.69c_2. Do you think that this package is also compatible with my device? I was just looking for an upgrade and I found your video! Or, if you kindly share the source where you found this upgrade, maybe I can also search for an upgrade by myself. Thanks for your video and in advance for your reply :) Tony

Well... I ended up with Japanese wheels on my saab 93, purely unintentional, the salvage yard sold the ones I went for, so I grabbed the xsr wheels and fortune smiled upon me that day and they were 5x110 with four good tires, a little kerb rash, but for 60GBP I definitely couldn't complain. I may do a wheel restoration video. Thanks Jonas once again. Ross.

So what happens to the usb port that is originally placed in the center console, it woudln't work after replacing the unit?

I didn't choose "wipe" when I installed the update. Nothing was lost.

Oj. när jag kollade på videon så gissade jag på att du skulle ha minst 50k mer för den. Har själv en Aero v6 xvd med maptune ic, insug, avgas mm mm så jag klarar mig, men den är fin!

Völlig schräge Nummer, echt tolles Projekt.

Mmm, har man inte.... så skaffar man sig..... intressant projekt! Glaser ska väl inte vara något problem för glasmästare kan jag inte tänka mig... Tänkte, fick du med gångjärnen till luckan....⁉️...o fästet i taket...? Tänkte också, har du några ritningar på den 9⁵an du har o eventuellt ritningar på föregående 9⁵ kombin samt Opel ritning för, där finns ju oftast de bra mått redan utritade för att kunna se OM MAN kanske kan återanvända tak delarna från antingen Insignian eller föregående 9⁵ modell osv o kunna modellera med... bara som förslag! Är som sagt onödigt att GÅ ÖVER BÄCKEN för att hämta vattnet..... Som sagt kul projekt och kommer följa med spänning! Bra jobbat!

I love that white Saab and I will never modiffy it, but it is not about me, but you, and I have to say that if that wonderful car has to be modified, than the way you want to do it is just ingenious and looks spectacular. BRAVO!

Hej Jonas, as you know I am also building a SC conversion. We also started out with the Insignia tailgate but the shape/curvature doesn't fit the 9-5, which is also much wider at the rear of the roof. We will now use the bottom part of the SAAB, middlepart of a BMW and the henches will be from Renault. The rear glass and side windows at the rear will be made custom so it will fit the shape of the SAAB. The custom glass will only cost a few thousands (euros) so it really pays of to choose your own shape and then make custom windows uinsread of letting the Insignia tailgate dictate the rest of the shape of the car.
